Kingdom of Libya Flag - Will it return?

Amongst the recent tensions in Libya has emerged a flag related issue. Will the former Kingdom of Libya flag return.

The former flag of the Kingdom of Libya is shown below.

But the question is, will this replace the current Libyan flag? This is increasingly seen as a symbol of the Gadaffi regime:

The current flag of Libya as you can see is all green and was introduced by Gaddafi somewhat controversially on November 11, 1977. The flag is the only country flag of the world to have just one color. with no symbol to break the color up. The green reflects the countries love of Islam, for which green is the dominant color.

Various islamic states have major green emphasis in their flag design, these include (but are not limited to):
Algeria
Iran
Mauritania
Pakistan
Saudi Arabia
Turkmenistan
United Arab Emirates

In recent times, protestors around the world have been seen waving the former Kingdom of Libya flag. Recently in Times Square, New York, USA - 600 protestors were seen and some had the flag. Even within Libya itself the flag has been seen used as a weapon of protest, see this image below:

In the image below, a protester waves the Kingdom of Libya flag. This was during a protest against Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, which was held in Benghazi, Libya on February 26, 2011.

In the image below, the Kingdom of Libya flag can be seen waving at the Libyan Embassy in the Hague, Netherlands. This has already replaced the traditional all green Libya flag:
