Support for Syrian President President Bashar al-Assad - Solider Waves Syrian Flag

Support amongst the army still seems strong for Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad.

As can be seen from the image below, a Soldier waves the Syrian Flag with pride, whilst beneath him a picture of the president is displayed.



Like most Middle-Eastern leaders, the Syrian President has recently come under fire and blames dissidents for unrest in the country.

It's interesting once more to see the national flag used as a symbol of patriotism.
