English Flag Shamed by Muslim Haters in Blackburn, England
The English Flag was shamed by members of the radical far right group the "English Defence League" (EDL) today in Blackburn, England.
Approximately 2,000 ED protestors converged on Blackburn in Lancashire (near to Manchester) to protest against the alleged spread of Sharia Law and militant Islamism in England and the UK.

The town of Blackburn was selected as it has a heavy Muslim population. The EDL were confronted by a rival march from Unite Against Fascism.

St Georges Day Rugby Match to Paint Twickenham Red and White
A charity match on April 23 will see the famous Twickenham rugby ground painted red and white, the English Flag colors. In what some see as a controversial move, the entire length of the Twickenham pitch will be painted like an English Flag.
How the pitch might look
The owner of London based Rugby club, Wasps said "The St George’s Day Game comes just five days before the Royal Wedding and will be a fantastic opportunity for rugby fans and Londoners to celebrate all things English, including rugby at Twickenham"
The charity match will raise funds for military charities, especially war heroes. Read further information at - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/club/8419754/Wasps-to-fly-the-flag-for-St-George-for-charity-game-against-Bath-at-Twickenham.html
