Sachin Tendulkar Waves Indian Flag After Cricket World Cup Final Win in Mumbai, April 2 2011

I couldn't resist creating a quick post with this image of cricket legend and hero Sachin Tendulkar. He is seen here waving the Indian Flag following India's first win of the Cricket World Cup since 1983.

Many are speculating that this will now be Tendulkar's final world cup game. At the age of 37 he is now a veteran in the game of cricket. What a way for Tendulkar to bow out if it was his last game, seeing his beloved India beat Sri Lanka in the Cricket World Cup Final!

Indian Flag Outrage in Mohali - ICC Official Dishonours/Disrespects Flag?

The last thing you want with the highly fuelled atmosphere of the India vs Pakistan cricket match at Mohali is an inflammatory incident.

Well an official of the ICC (International Cricket Committee) managed to enflame tempers, with what could be construed a disrespectful act to the Indian flag.

Outside the ground the official confiscated balloons with the Indian flag on them and stamped upon them to ensure they were deflated.

When questioned by reports, the official said there had been a breach of copyright bu using the ICC Logo without permission. The official apologised for her actions, the ICC have promised to conduct a full investigation.

Was the Indian flag dishonored by an ICC Official?
